The best holiday ever....!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After a long journey from GB, we arrived in Bangkok.

We booked into the Majestic Grande hotel. Very nice hotel and near to other places to eat. We ate at the hotel and then we went to bed early as we were off with Tong the next morning....so worried, we had two friend s with us and as I had booked the trip ... wanted them to have a great time.

Managed to get up in time and had breakfast, which was nice. My friend and I sat in reception to wait for Tong,(until now an unkown entity).

Then I saw her, so like her photos on the tripadvisor site.

We immediately got on and she was so much fun. She had her babysitter with her...we called her Sally Anne, as we couldn%26#39;t say her name.

We went to the railway market, so Thai, smells and sounds, then the train came without warning. So funny...after we managed to avoid it. Usually there is a warning, well we got through that and it helped us bond with Tong.

What followed was the best ever trip we had ever done but, I don%26#39;t want to bore you so to outline our trip we,

Went to the floating market and ate all kinds of Thai food which was delicious

Saw a temple and the beautiful carvings within that temple

Rode and bathed elephants(Thankyou to Pinbit), I fed her and bathed her and my husband rode her and she picked him up with her trunk. She then returned the compliment by showering us all, such a great and unforgetable experience.

We also that day saw the other side of Thailand, we went to the Kwai Railway museum and cemetary. We went to the bridge and it began to rain and thunder and lighten...with a vengence. We set off to the VN guest house to get ready for our evening meal. The museum had made us all feel pensive.

We had a lovely meal in sight of the bridge which seemed eerie.

The VN was nice for breakfast and a drink at the night time but the rooms are so basic, no sockets etc but were clean.

Our second day and we began with bamboo rafting. Lovely, so peaceful, not spiders as has been mentioned before on TA. Just the sound s of birds, we saw a Kingfisher.

Next a waterfall and then to the Tiger Temple. I must say that I trust Tong now and if she says that the Tiger s are not drugged I believe her. The tigers were not always friendly and we moved fast when told to. We didn%26#39;t feel unsafe at any time. We played and fed baby tigers and walked with and sat with the bigger ones (after they had fed on their cooked chickens). Bam Bam had got a health check the next day , she is lovely. I seemed to spend the day feeding hogs and goats and water buffalo. It was great.

Then that was it we had also seem the Kings pottery being made and furniture for sale overseas.

We were fed and watered along the way like Kings.

Tong is not just a tour guide she cares for elderly people, dogs and animals at the tiger temple and orphanage The best trip you can do will be with her.

Hua hin , we stayed at the Hilton and got upgraded to a Pacific suite. It was wonderful and the breakfast was awsome.

Places for food we would recommend are

Sassi\

Supatra by the Sea

The brewing company

Chumkulen

Italian opposite Hilton

Fresh Inn

and for a special occasion The White Lotus in the Hilton

Where about is the tiger temple, did you book it through the hotel or an agent? is it a long drive from Bangkok to tigers, it sounds like the place my kids would love, we are going back to Thailand in two weeks as we just love the place and people! But havent visited the tiger temple before.
