Thai airways from HKK via BKK to Chang Mai

Just wondering has anyone done this flight to tell me how is it that you can change planes in 1 hour to fly on to CM when you go via BKK.

It just seems a bit tight, by the way i will only have carry on bag so that may help.

If it is both Thai Airways, no worries. You can check in for the BKK-CM flight in Hong Kong already, so you%26#39;ll just have to make your way to the pier. Immigration you will do in CM.

actually you need to check that the bangkok-chiang mai flight originates from the new airport. i presume it does if they%26#39;re saying 1 hr is okay for connection. some bangkok-chiang mai flights go from the old airport as well.

i believe if the bangkok - chiang mai flight has a 3 digit flight number it leaves from the new airport, if 4 digit it leaves from the old airport.
