Hello I will be in Thailand on january 3rd 2009 and ı will be visiting bangkok -pattaya-phuket . I have tight budget araound 20 US $ a day. So ı need some advice about where to stay. İt can be hostel or guest houses. Thank you.

For Bangkok that%26#39;s no problem, especially around Banglamphu (aka Khao San Road), Thewet and on Soi Kasem San 1, near National Stadium/Siam. Lots of rooms for half that price. For 600 baht you can get a fairly comfortable guest house room. I don%26#39;t know much about Pattaya, but my understanding is, you can get very nice budget hotel rooms near the beach for 600-700 baht.
In my experience everything on Phuket is double the price it is anywhere else. If beach bungalows cost 500 baht on nearby islands, they cost 1000 baht and up in Phuket. Please correct me if I%26#39;m wrong.
Since it IS peak season, you%26#39;d have to pre-book, and soon.
