For those forum members in Khao Lak in mid-November the follwing event may be of interest.
The Phang-Nga Paradise Festival to welcome the tourist high season is scheduled to be held during November 10-12 at Khao Lak Centre in Thakuapa district. The Phang-Nga Deputy Governor Teerayut Eamtrakul said the logo and concept of this year would be ‘Green Forever�?and that it gets public and private sector involved in welcoming visitors to the area. Many fun-filled and colorful activities are prepared. They include a fancy parade, stage performances showing cultural values of all 8 districts, music, a Miss Green Forever contest and exhibition of local crafts and products plus fresh seafood and tourism products booths on display.
