My daughter is going to be in the perhentian islands and then is considering taking a train through southern Thailand to koh samui. She is concerned that with the political unrest about the safety of taking the train. She will be with a few other american students. I think it would be safe but wanted the advise of others before telling her to go ahead. Their other option would be to return to Kuala lumpur and fly but that is not really in their budget. Thanks for the advice and putting a mom%26#39;s heart at rest!
