Is Doi Pui Village worth a visit?

I think it is up the Hill past Doi Suthep.

Doi Pui Village

this village is a heavily commercialised Meo tribe village. it%26#39;s about 5 km past Phu Ping palace which is the winter residence of the king. there are 2 second rate museum huts, one focusing on opium production , the other on the different hilltribes. on the hillside above the village is an English garden which is isually in full bloom in Januray.
