I really am a little confused as to have our next holiday in Krabi or Hua Hin. Can you tell me what the difference is and which you would prefer.
We usually stay at the Sheraton and they both look very nice.

Depends what you are looking for any how you wish to spend your time.
They are totally different in so many ways.
If you want tropical beach style then certainly I agree Krabi, however, if you are not so much into beaches and perhaps into national parks, wanted to be close to bangkok, perhaps wanted to visit River Kwai, then in that case Hua Hin, they are so very different it is not easy without knowing what sort of vacation you like.
