Hi There we are going to Thailand at the end of the week and are transfering from khao sok to krabi. We are planning on sourcing a tranfer to koh lanta ancient realm when we get to krabi town but just wondered if anyone could give me a tip of where to try? Would really appreciate it.

When you reach Krabi Town, you have 2 choices to getting Ko Lanta;

1. Getting Ko Lanta from Krabi by public van - share van( the minivan point located near Vogue Department Store) Price is around 350.-/ person,

2. Getting Ko Lanta by VIP Transfer, one trip around 2700-3000.-, you can book the VIP transfer tru your resort.

Pretty well any guesthouse in Krabi or Ao Nang will be able to arrange a shared minivan for the next day.

The ferry,s are surpose to start tomorrow,the wind,s dropped so should be a pleasent trip,ancient realm,s about 2 to three k,s from the jetty,a pick up should take you there for under a 100 baht.I,ll pop down to see if any turn up tommorrow at around 1pm,as it seem,s abit early for me,the ferries generally start late october.On the way back jump ship at koh jam for a couple of nights.Mini bus is ok hour and a half to the first ferry,depends on if your the first customer,then you go round the house,s picking up various bits and pieces people, shopping a few of the drivers mates.The two car ferries are ok at the momment,you could get away with an hour if lucky.Door to door around three hours.Ferry a couple of hours.Have a great time,good choice of resort by the way.
