hey im a single male travel and im traveling to phuket on jan 2009 im also traving alone! do you think 3000 will be enogth?? im going to be drinking etc... lol you know the rest just nee some info thks

The most important question is how long are you going for? We are taking 2 thousand for 16 days plus our card to be on the safe side, but really expecting not to go through that much going by past experience.

It definitely won%26#39;t be enough if you end up paying the vet%26#39;s bills for the sick water buffalo in Isaan, or Mum or Dad%26#39;s ';hospital bill';. Also beware of the gold shops.

mmm me thinks you might be living like a king for a week LOL i%26#39;m not taking that much for 2 of us 14 nights!!!!

For 7 nights you will have plenty just be smart. A young fellow who had a couple to many got rolled the other night by motor bike taxi%26#39;s. He lost about 20,000 baht plus watch etc. I heard of another guy who got done by the girl he had just met. Be cautious. you are probably better to drink at bars where there are plenty of expats

The aussie bar on bangla road is a good starting point lots of kiwis and aussies both expat and tourists. Steve and chiller who own the aussi are great and will point you in the right direction.From there you in a few steps away from some entertaining bars etc.

My friend and I will only be taking $1,500 each for 12 days in Thailand. That money will be spent on shopping, food and tours! AND WE ARE WOMEN!
