has anyone used one of the offers in phuket where you pay the accommodation over internet and have to attend a 90 min talk there are four resorts to chose from

Friends have done it , they press you to buy but just keep saying you can not afford it they will eventually give up unless of course you want to buy in !!!!!!!

ended up getting our money back (well we have been told we would hasnt happened yet) on this deal as they gave us the run around and the company where we got the v were very rude so didnt want to take to chance once there.

We bought a voucher and stayed at Baumanburi about 18 mths ago. Hotel was okay, we did our 90 minute talk and were tempted but reality set in and we did not go ahead. The deal was okay if you travel a lot - we ended up moving from the hotel as it wasn%26#39;t exactly what we were looking for on our first trip to Phuket. Just received another offer and am tempted because Phuket is wonderful.

We have a week arranged at the Baumanburi in Feb. The booking went well - they are efficient. Have been to one of these talks before and it wasn%26#39;t too painful - certainly worth the return. Wouldn%26#39;t have chosen to stay at the Baumanburi if we were paying but the reviews are good - as long as you upgrade from a superior room. We%26#39;ve done a 2 step upgrade to a grand deluxe. We didn%26#39;t get a choice though, at the time, Baumanburi it was.

We have a voucher to stay at Baumanburi Resort %26amp; Spa in Phuket and yes it includs the 90 min talk, but I have heard nothing but good reports abot this hotle as I have been on four other forum site,s and they all have good thing,s to say.

That%26#39;s a %26#39;newer version%26#39; that i%26#39;ve heard from the one, where they stop and persuade you to go to a %26#39;presentation%26#39; and talk...and issue and invite you to scratch a ticket.Of course you win a 7 day holiday at one of their resorts (if you sign up)or a %26#39;T%26#39; shirt with their logo on ..if you don%26#39;t!Do not fall for it..unless you have a %26#39;lazy%26#39; 8 grand to spare(oz).It%26#39;ll just end up taking up a whole morning or afternoon of your precious holiday time.Give it/them the swerve!
