bangkok to phuket via air asia

Is it easy to find your way around airport when departing by Air Asia from Bangkok to Phuket? Are signs in English and Thai? Would you recommend the hotel to book a taxi for trip to airport? What would we expect to pay? How long should be allowed from Adelphi Suites to airport if flight scheduled at 15.25. Thanks for advice anyone.

The airport is quite well signposted in both languages. Domestic departures are from the far left side of the terminal, and check in closes 45 minutes before departure. It can be a longish walk to some of the departure gates. You can ask the hotel to order a taxi for you and there is usually a 50 baht surcharge for that on top of the metered fare. The cost would be around 250-300 baht, plus expressway tolls of 70 baht. You should allow 45-60 minutes to get to the airport but make sure you get there well before they close check in.
