from Friday night to Sunday late afternoon. I was wondering if there are any restaurants and places to go visit during my short stay in bangkok with my wife. it%26#39;s our first time there.

Sukhumvit is filled with places to eat - eating is a way of life in Thailand so you won%26#39;t need to look far. One suggestion Wyndhams Thai - you csn google for it.

As for tours, the Grand Palace is a must see and opens daily at 8.30am (decent clothing required). Grab the skytrain at Asoke (round the corner from the hotel), change at Siam and head for Saphan Taksin. Under the station is the Choa Phrya express boat pier (Ta Sathorn). Take the boat to Ta Chang, the Grand Palace is right there, and Wat Pho is behind it.
