Only 1 day in Phuket....what would you do??

Hi there,

We are booked to go on the Superstar Virgo in Oct. The ship stops at Phuket from 7 am to about 5pm, which means we have to keep a tight schedule.

We have previously spent 7 nights at the Holiday Inn Patong last year so we know are way around a bit.

I am thinking that we will have lunch at one of the beach restaurants such as the Sabai Beach restaurant or something similar. After that, we might spend sometime shappoing at OTOP %26amp; then find a driver to take us to the View Point for some afternoon drinks. I was also thinking of visiting Kok Chang, but might not have time.

Does anyone have any better ideas on how you would spend a day at Phuket?? Any suggestions welcome! I am not too fussed about going to OTOP as we will have time in Bangkok to do shopping.
