My wife and I stayed at Anantara for our honeymoon in June 2007. You are in for a treat. What a wonderful experience. We still talk about Anantara constantly (watching the sunrise off the shores of Thailand followed by breakfast on the beach with fresh mango juice and hot football shaped omelets.) That place is absolute heaven.
Hua Hin is a quaint little town outside the normal tourism of many parts of Thailand. You will still find that foreigners are quite welcomed though. You have so much to look forward to.

Are you going to stay in Bangkok first. We are having three nights in Bangkok and then 11 in Hua hin at the Hilton. 1st is our anniversary, so bad day to travel and my hubbie has damaged his cruciate ligament playing football.
never mind all adds to the fun

hi fay hope you had a good holiday we had a great time loved every minute meet a couple who were staying at the hilton said they loved it.our hotel was fab but abit to far out never stop us got tuk-tuk every nite
