flight question

booked our flights with air asia months ago- and paid extra to save seats so we can sit with friends.

my husband managed to wash his passport, and so he was issued a new passport number. i notified air asia of the new number (after 3 calls and 4 hours on hold) and they send me new confirmations of the flights.

the new confirmations, however- do not have seat numbers on them. do you think we will still have those seats (confirmation numbers are still the same), or will i need to spend yet another lunch break on hold??

flight question

Budget airlines are OK provided nothing goes wrong. If you change details, etc with AirAsia, often things like insurance do not move over to the new tickets. You can print the old tickets off and take them with you, saying that you were told over the phone that it was OK, regarding seat reservations. Or you can phone again.

I%26#39;ve never bothered with reservations as if you get on fairly early, there are plenty of groups of seats available.
