Injections!

Im a first time traveller to Thailand and have been advised to have the following;

Cholera, Hep A, Hep B , Hep E, Malaria, Polio , Rabies and Typhiod.

Do i really need all these?

Injections!

No, but the hep jabs may be a good idea. The risks from Cholera, Malaria, Rabies and Typhoid are minimal, as is polio although it is present here.

Injections!

We had the hep a, polio and typhoid. Mind you we were only going to bangkok and koh samui. Maybe they have recommended all of those if you are going to non-commercial areas of thailand/out in the sticks?

After spending a couple of days in Bangkok we are heading to Koh Tao , i shall enquire at my health center , thanks x

Hi,

I didn%26#39;t think Cholera jabs were given now,ours lapsed years ago? we keep Typhoid,Hep A,polio and Diptheria up to date so as not to have to start again.I notice you%26#39;re from our part of the world,our medical centre are great for advise and the jabs are free.We%26#39;ve been going to Thailand most years,sometimes more than once,since about 1995.
