I have been wondering the same thing. We are wanting to travel from Ko Phangan to Krabi, and to save money we were thinking of taking a ferry to surat thani and then a bus down to krabi. does anyone know how easy this is to do and how long it takes??

I think the bus from Surat Thani to Krabi takes about 6hours (to Krabi town).

Are bangkok air the only airline which fly between, krabi and samui? We are travelling the other way around.

yes, they are the only airline. taking the bus is a huge waste of time. it only takes me 1 and a half hours to drive to Donsak Port, but for some reason the bus takes 4-5 hours!
