could some one recommend a group day tour leaving from bangkok to river kwai and tiger temple.

Also we would like to do a dinner night cruise in bangkok. any suggestions other than la noya??

If you can you really should try for an overnight trip to Kanchanaburi and do the tour that also takes in the Australian War Museum at Hellfire Pass.

The tour probably would include the floating markets, Tiger Temple and museums in Kanchanaburi the first day, then up to Hellfire Pass the next morning on the train. Kanchanaburi has some very nice restaurants on the River Kwaii.

I%26#39;m actually going to be doing the same thing. A day trip to Kanchanaburi to visit the War Museum, Tiger Temple and river kwai.

I think i%26#39;ll book the tour once we arrive in Kanchanaburi. We%26#39;re going by bus for a lil ';adventure'; and try to blend in with the locals. hehehe

Is the bus terminal close to the main town? We want to get to Kanchanaburi by 8-9am so we can immediately book tours (what time do they open?) and then cover as much as we can before heading back to Bangkok.

the bus terminal is right in the town. likely 10 or 15 mins to the bridge over Kwai River.

Most of all tours already start in the morning(it%26#39;s in working hour already though). So would be easy to find one, but availability is still a question!
